The hand dyed scarves Celtic, Mackintosh and Tree of Life are manufactured by painting the silk with sweeping brush strokes loaded with dye of which several complementary colours are applied.  While the paint is wet scarves are textured with rock salt to give a pleasant and exiting wave effect. Designs are screen printed using gold paint.

CELTIC
The Celtic scarf is inspired from the carved stone crosses found in Ireland, Scotland and Wales. The wheel along the centre represents eternity, fidelity and unity. The knotwork along the edges and also in the centre represent the love and friendship.

TREE OF LIFE
Tree of Life, portraying a medieval feel, originates from sketches of a bird on a tree branch. Along the centre line the shape of a heart emerged. This image is used as a strong element in the border arrangement.

MACKINTOSH
Inspired from the famous Scottish architect and designer Charles Rennie Mackintosh. The Mackintosh scarf depicts flow of parallel lines and rose motif plus a grouping of four roses.

FLORAL SCARVES
These hand painted scarves are based on eight popular flowers including the Celtic national flowers, Shamrock and Thistle. The outlines of the designs are first screen printed with white or gold gutta paint, the void areas are then hand painted by highly skilled silk painters.
